Welcome . . .

I have been Krabbe for all of my life, as has my father before me, and his before him. My wife has only been Krabbe for the thirty years we have been married.

You are welcome to comment on anything in this web site. Because the internet is akin to the "wild west" I will need to approve your first comment to make sure you are not an autobot trying to take over the world, and tax my coffee without representation.

BTW: I will be putting information on this very blog this coming month about my new novel ""The Fading Silence-a neo-bohemian post-post-modern apocalyptic story about a boy and his dog (that has nothing to do with a dog, but the man enters into it.)" Please check back and spread the word!

Through the Dim Glass

Some days I suffer from the illusion that I understand much.

The Jesus Moon

May 19th, 2011 Poetry

© 2011 Rob Krabbe, NoonAtNight Publishing

I see you, you know.
You’re not so very
smart in your bright
cotton suit and your
white canvass shoes
with the coffee stains.

Don’t even try your
illusive, lost in the
fog-draped night tricks.

You hide behind this cloud
and that, that shroud, and
then, I see you watch me
from your scavenger’s
nest. Oh . . . hungry? . . .yes,
the meat but no stomach
for the death I see.

My mind, is a place
for fools, yes, but you?
You really don’t know
do you? Well, sometimes I die
for you, Sometimes . . .
I have lied for you.

This Jesus moon.
Reflecting someone else’s
glory from the bema seat,
reach the verdict well.
Remember, “justice first.”

Don’t miss the worship
of the faithful, as the clouds
make love to me. Fingers
lightly drawn across me,
touching me,
taunting me,
romancing me,
but . . . sadly, they relent.
So I go ahead,
and I set my clock, anyway.

High above, they swirl
around your body, and
I see. As if you would dance the
skies, revealing your truths
and lightly draping your lies,
over my soul.

Little white lies that cover
and uncover you, you sausage
and beer flasher in the park.
Some cosmic tease, you.
Just a haunting memory,
and all the while, you moan,
and you sigh,
though alone.

Watch me:
my body trembles,
muscles seize,
arch, tense up,
and scream,
then spent,
lays back, into
the cold forever sky.

Now in the silent,
wispy lie,
floating,
lazy,
and fade into
the ghost of
my longest
ever night.

On 6th Nov 2011 early morning I got a dream in that I have seen Lord Jesus and his world on MOON as described in Bible. I offered my pray and thanks by bowing down. In India it is believed that early morning dreams are true
I have also seen angels coming down to earth. I am Hindu by birth but have liking of Christianity. I have visited many churches during my Europe stay
The images where very clear. I have never read, heard about Jesus on moon till today.
I wanted to comment about my dream and I searched for this and I found your site.

    Hellow Raj,

Nice to talk with you. I have been Christian most of my life. I also have a fairly limited understanding of Hinduism, but it is interesting.

I have had many dreams that involve Jesus, and at times in my life when I was distracted, and not really praying like I should or seeking God, sometimes I think God sends me a dream or vision like that to shake me up a little, or to get my attention again.

I, also, believe that some dreams are filled with truth, and some are our minds working out problems. Early morning dreams tend to stick with me during the day, and the middle of the night dreams tend to just be a vague feeling, so I agree with your culture about morning dreams.

I have been a musician and worship pastor for the past 30 years, and my wife is in grad school now, studying for a divinity masters.

All the best to you! Thanks again for commenting. Feel free to write me at my email address if you wish anytime. rob@krabbe.com

    blessings to you.
