Welcome . . .

I have been Krabbe for all of my life, as has my father before me, and his before him. My wife has only been Krabbe for the thirty years we have been married.

You are welcome to comment on anything in this web site. Because the internet is akin to the "wild west" I will need to approve your first comment to make sure you are not an autobot trying to take over the world, and tax my coffee without representation.

BTW: I will be putting information on this very blog this coming month about my new novel ""The Fading Silence-a neo-bohemian post-post-modern apocalyptic story about a boy and his dog (that has nothing to do with a dog, but the man enters into it.)" Please check back and spread the word!

Through the Dim Glass

Some days I suffer from the illusion that I understand much.

Carnitas and Manic Mango Salsa

So far the only good and tasty “real Mexican food” in the Land of Dixie, is in my memory of some of the best music, cooked up in a melting pot on the front lawn of a rented house on “Avenida De Los Arboles” back in the day before I figured out it wasn’t the [...]

After Thirty Years of Marriage . . . Discovery.

“If you can’t have fun, don’t go.” Robert L. Krabbe  Sr.  1932     Like most days, four a.m. came right on time.  Melissa sleeping and like most days I begin to realize I am done sleeping and have been for an hour or so.   Like most days I notice intermittently my arm or hand folded under [...]

She Was Smoking Hot and Tasty – Chapter 942

Since I have been reprocessing the personal legend of my quitting smoking, and all the emails I found in my in-box from people that have and still are sharing that experience with me, I decided to look through my old journals of other seasons of  this seeming life-long distress.  Let me preface this by saying, we have [...]

Would You Like Brains With That?
